John Milarkey

John Milarky is a screenwriter. He co-wrote La voz del sol, a 2023 coming-of-age film set in Paris and Pamplona in 1965, and based on Alan Jolis’ memoir, Speak Sunlight.

 

John was awarded a Scottish BAFTA for Best New Writer for The Star (1996) and won the 18th Hartley-Merrill Prize for International Screenwriting at Cannes for his script, The Strangest Thing.
