Mark Walker

A graduate of the NFTS MA in Fiction Direction, Mark’s graduation film Sea Monsters received a BAFTA nomination and was an RTS Student Award nominee. Prizes include Best Director at Les Rencontres Internationales Henri Langlois, Poitiers and an Honourable Mention at the Munich International Film Festival.  

 

His short film Floating was made through Film Four/UK Film Council’s Cinema Extreme scheme with broadcast on Film Four and Channel Four, touring the UK as part of Brief Encounters’ Tall Orders programme. The film was also selected for the Guardian’s Cyber Cinema Best of the Web. 

 

Mark has directed TV drama episodes for Holby City including a two-part special, Sky One’s Dream Team, as well as for The Bill.
