Grant Gee wins Silver Bear for Best Director

Thrilled to announce that at the 76th Berlinale Grant Gee was awarded the Silver Bear for Best Director by Jury Head Wim Wenders for his film Everybody Digs Bill Evans.

Wim Wenders said “unbelievable performance by Bill Pullman,” “incredibly shot in gorgeous black and white with some of the most beautiful compositions we’ve seen in a long time.”  Grant said, “thank you wonderful cast and crew and fantastic editing by Adam Biskupski and especially Anders Danielsen Lie.  Thank you to one person from whole production, producer Janine Marmot  who was with me from day one, a woman of immense taste and tenacity.  The imagery – best work, thank you Piers McGrail.”
